You were correct about Ethan Hawke playing a true crime writer in a horror movie but the movie you were thinking of was actually Sinister. You were also correct about Max (the Grabber’s brother) being in one of the IT movies. He was in It Chapter 2 and played the older version of one of the kids. He was actually also in Sinister if you’d remember. He played the detective who was a fan of Ethan Hawke’s work and ended up helping him get more information on the families that were on the tapes. ^-^

2022-10-09 01:57:11 +0000 UTCLol, I love James' "It" comment, because as soon as I saw the sister in the yellow raincoat, I yelled, "Georgie!" So this movie was actually based off a short story that Stephen King's son, Joe Hill, wrote. I think this is my favorite King-esque movie adaption though.
