So let's pretend I posted this at an appropriate time after my birthday dinner... AHEM

I don't know about you guys, but I used to not celebrate my birthday. I used to think that it wasn't a big deal, that I didn't need to do something special for it, that it's just another year. But since last year I have grown and started to learn more about myself. I am a determined Stego that likes to get things done, not disappoint others and make sure that the best is put into whatever I do. I work hard and push myself till I can't move any more, I love dinners and spending time with my family. I want to be spontaneous with my life, so I booked a flight to NYC. I want to live a life. Not just float along a calm river. I know not everyone can afford to do the things they want to do, I know I can't. But there's something exciting about living every day. Mundane schedules might be a majority of your day, but there are some things you can do outside of that to feel happy and fulfilled. You have goals and desires, at least I do.

So what's the harm in celebrating a birthday? Once a year to reflect on your achievements, goals, and how much you've grown. The experiences you've had and food you got to eat (yummy). I hope you guys celebrate your birthday. Every year. I'm proud of you for making it this far, I'm grateful for the support and love that you guys have for me. You're special and wonderful. Life is hard and stressful but it never defines you. So when your birthday rolls around next -- do something you want to do (within legal reasons..)! Get that fancy dinner, buy yourself that outfit you've wanted, sleep and relax, go to an amusement park, road trip or just have a karaoke night with your family and friends! Whatever it is... just take a moment to celebrate you. Because you're one of a kind and someone that can't be replaced.
