2022-08-21 21:20:20 +0000 UTCSnow White is part of the Golden Era of Disney which are the first 5 animated movies that were released before and during the start of World War 2, which also include movies like Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi. Before Snow White all of the other animation that Walt release were only shorts so when Disney announced that he would be working on a full length animation feature (being the first of it's kind) a lot of people were really skeptical that it would work and even Walt's brother and his wife try to talk him out of it. While the movie was in production people in the industry called the film 'Disney's Folly' thinking that it would fail but once the film was released it became huge success and after that the rest is history. Would be cool to see you react to a documentary that is The Making of Snow White, which shows the history and a lot of behind the scene info on how the production and the animation process was like
