The Purge
Added 2022-08-17 23:22:54 +0000 UTCSo we just watched the purge 2 and I wanted to tell you all...we just weren't huge fans and decided to stop the series. The sequal started to get very political and while that wouldn't be a problem in a fictional universe, it taking place in America put us in a weird spot. We really don't like getting into politics on the channel but felt that we couldn't honestly watch these movies without delving into (however fictional) American politics. I hope you understand, we just wanted to do you all the courtesy of an explanation.

damn this sucks. I was hoping you guys at least got to the 3rd movie, it was by far the best out of the franchise and im pretty sure u guys would’ve enjoyed it

I just find them so ridiculous, to me the first just feels like a rip off of The Strangers but not anywhere near as well done.

I didn’t know that the movies actually dove deep into fictional but yet American politics that heavily but ye, you guys should definitely put what you feel comfortable on the channel and if you don’t wanna put anything on the channel that’s politics related, that’s fine too. As always, thank you for being completely honest and transparent with us about this issue.💙

2022-08-18 01:31:36 +0000 UTCI have no problem with it, I hate modern politics that really overtakes the story. Just give a good story that's all I want. You can have politics in the story as subversive and the audience will get it.
