I never actually saw this intro as a "normal" intro, it felt v much like Rudeus arriving at the school and just reminiscing over everything that brought him here, but that's just me I guess xD There's actually quite a bit you learn about for why Sylphie doesn't say anything, but that'll probably be told in story. There was a lot glossed over/left out here, the most important probably being Elinalise's curse, which is genuinely not only very serious *but* very important to later. No spoilers on it as hopefully they go into more detail as it provides a whole ass character motivation for some v important developments. Wolfange already mentioned Cliff was from the OVA which you guys def should watch, provides some context to stuff xD

2023-08-11 21:18:18 +0000 UTCyou should watch it even if you don't post it, it's still a good episode to watch since it's canon and it will help you to understand more Cliff, and how certain character feels at this time already etc and understand how politics and opinion etc work in the town/region they where and why Paul help was important at this moment because of Ruijerd i wont tell more but definitly a good episode to watch.

2023-08-08 08:57:02 +0000 UTCan incredible episode i was waiting so much for your react, the school arc is incredible i was waiting it so much. the opening first time was have one like that a more "classic" one and even that mushoku tensei did X100 times better than 99% of other anime beautiful to see and the music and full of hidden message and important moment of the previous episodes of the season etc i wonder if they use it only for the start of this IMPORTANT arc or they used it more than this time. btw you seem to have forget about Cliff Grimoire it was the ""genius"" kid with the Eris OVA an important OVA, it seem for the moment they use OVA to fill important canon moment which are not by the eyes of rudeus.
