It scared me the first time I saw it because of the two faced neighbors wanting them dead so badly-because they prospered from the security systems everyone in the neighborhood bought by the way! I imagine he gave them free updates too! Just really scared me that someone who smiles and says good morning to you is thinking terrible things about you! But really enjoyed the performances!

I mean I sorta agree with him but...

Been awhile since I’ve seen this! It came out just after I’d graduated high school and I remember seeing it with a bunch of friends. I remember kinda thinking the thing with the daughter and her boyfriend was stupid. From what I gather they were dating as she’s 15-16 and he was 17, turned 18 and the dad was like “ope, too bad, gotta break up now” which didn’t go over well. Also, the couple would technically fall under Romeo and Juliet law which doesn’t penalize age gaps 3 yrs or under. So her dad came off as a bit dramatic in that regard, both to teenager me and adult me. I’d love to see you watch the rest of the series! And I think there was also a mini series on tv. The only film I haven’t seen is The Forever Purge, but now I may just rewatch the whole series

They get a little much because that's the point. People are purging and committing horrible crimes against each other because they'll get away with it. The Scream franchise would be perfect.

Show you a other good Horror Movie: Paranormal Activity (2007)

I think this one is a great introduction of what the Purge is. The sequels they get a little much in my opinion. The Prequel, The First Purge?, I think that's what it's called was an interesting idea, the execution could have been a little better. Hey, whenever you have time, will you do a one-off scary movie? I recommend Darkness Falls. It's so criminally underrated. Or maybe a bit Meta, like Scream Franchise? I like it, the Meta is what gave the Scream Franchise it's charm. Just a recommendation.

I have to be honest, I don't remember which movie is the more brutal. But, I'm not sure how you'll enjoy the next one. I feel like you'll be angry more than not. But, I do enjoy them myself.
