2023-07-20 00:30:25 +0000 UTCAsk and receive, while I can't remember the *exact* time; Rudeus left Fittoa a month or two after Eris left. In total by the end of this episode I believe it's only been about 6 months or so since the end of Season 1? But many of those months have passed *during* these two episodes. I had to do some double checking after last episode cause I thought he waited longer to leave after Eris but it was shorter then I remember. Some details non-spoilery: •Yes, you're right! He named all his muscles. •The intro scene was one of the jobs he took in the LN, this is a wintery region so they shovel snow from all over town and bring them to a permanent magic circle. Cause of how much mana he has he was able to repeatedly activate it, making a week long job take them only a day! And yes he's doing a lot of odd jobs, often pro-bono, in the hopes Zenith will hear about him, or someone who knows about her will and talk to him. Since no one is exploring the north. •In the LN I *believe*, someone who's read it more recently correct me if I'm wrong, Rudeus fights and *kills* the tree that attacks him when saving Sara. It was some unique, form of Treant capable of ice magic and the fight was pretty cool in writing imo. I was actually kinda bummed it didn't play it out a bit, but I like how they gave us his feeling and reasoning instead. Limited time is a bitch xD •Sol may be my favorite character in this Arc, can't wait for ya'll to get deeper into him. This episode gives you a good brush of him. •I don't know your names yet, I'm so bad with learning that. I think it's Ryan? (Glasses) Had a lot of really insightful stuff in this I appreciated a lot. Stuff that was less subtly hinted at in writing but done so well here. Also something he said that was unintentionally insightful. How often kids can get mopey over nothing. Something mentioned at some point either earlier or *very* soon in the writing is that both due to Rudeus' life in his past life up till now and due to the way his spirit/mind was reborn as Rudeus, he actually is practically mentally and emotionally as developed as his body is physically. Even if chronologically he's now lived something like 35/40 years he's still practically a teen in maturity in all forms. Both due to magical wibbly's and previous lifestyle. Has little to no impact on the story, be surprised if they ever mention it in the show, it's just an interesting connection my brain made
