Ye Xiu handled his training more carefully than Tang Rou's -- he wanted to help Steamed Bun grow as a player, become more consistently successful, improve his instincts but without crushing his individual style in the process. The fear was that forcing him to play a different way, may not merely cause him to lose interest/fire, but may actually make him a worse player. As a result, YX got as good as anyone can get at understanding SBI, able to "defuse" any mistakes or weird situations SBI created in team competitions, effectively aiming his chaos at opponents.

And it's very unlikely anybody would want your stain near them, once you got found out. I don't think I've mentioned this, but Steamed Bun Invasion (Bao Zi) is a bit of weird player. He's got great mechanics, APM, the raw materials for a great player. But he's inconsistent, to put it mildly -- awesome sometimes, making remarkable plays that nobody could've guessed, while other times, doing noobish incomprehensible stuff. As Wang Jiexi once put it after observing SBI, "This Brawler ... To say it nicely, he’s following his heart’s desire. To say it bluntly, he’s a complete mess." Here's assessments from other Gods idly discussing Happy's players in a chat lol: ==================== "His mechanics are pretty solid, but his decision-making is rather fleeting." Lin Jingyan commented as the most experienced Brawler player in the chat. "That's what makes it incomprehensible!" Jiang Botao sighed. "To quote Zhang Xinjie: an excessively random player." Lin Jingyan said. "That sounds like something he would say." Li Xuan laughed. Zhang Xinjie was known for his strict manner, so randomness was his greatest enemy. "All these assessments are very good! He is indeed very random, and his movements are very hard to predict. He doesn't seem to use his experience and fights by relying on some sort of innate instinct." Jiang Botao said. ====================
