It's funny watching the writers of the LA strain against the bonds imposed by the source, trying to inject as much romance as possible without blatantly abandoning the LN in this aspect. If the author had left in even a whiff of a kiss shared or declarations of love, I'm sure they'd have run with it, we'd be looking at a very different story. And yeah, Tang Rou's background as a pianist is the explanation for her crazy hand speed.
