Ah, okay cool. I just hope you don’t think this is purely a comedy, story is definitely convoluted right now. Imo it does get matter and makes way more sense.

Cid made a comment he wished he could of fought her at full strength which those chains presented that she was being held back. In other words she could be a match for cid, which was what the goddess trial was about which was summoning a ancient warrior that matches that summoners power.
