I enjoy reading these every upload. It helps further contextualize what's going on whenever I watch the next episode. If you enjoy posting these, please continue. I think Nathan's missing out. πŸ˜‰ -Brandon

And one last thing -- at this point in the Season, Excellent Era is actually in the bottom 10 of the League standings, maybe even bottom 5. There's no longer any hope for them even making it into the playoffs (top 8). Things have indeed gotten worse, which is why the investor dude is pissed at Tao Xuan. (This is like 13 eps too late, but do let me know if you find all this to be too much info -- I know people follow stories in different ways. I do make sure to keep out spoilers, and only limit info to current context, and anything else relevant you'd never find out in the LA anyways)

They drew out the whole Chen-Guo thing here, way longer than necessary πŸ˜…οΈ In the LN, as soon as he noticed she was acting strange because of his identity, he ordered her to go get him a sandwich or sumn, diva-style -- which immediately got her fuming at him and snapped her out of fangirl mode. I forgot to mention, he never actually hid his identity from her in the LN -- in fact, one of the first things he told her when he started working, was along the lines of "Let me tell you a secret. I'm actually Ye Qiu.". She's the one who scoffed and didn't believe him, cos he didn't look godly enough (yeah I know, hard to believe with the model they chose for the LA). He also doesn't hide how to perform Dragon Raises Its Head -- the theory behind this micro is well-understood by other players, Sun Xiang included. The problem is actually doing it, since it's not merely a fixed set of directions -- it requires considerable knowledge, experience and hand speed, all to get it right. For the past few years, Ye Xiu hasn't used this skill at all in matches, which contributed to the general belief that he was declining. However, Ye Xiu just sees it as another skill, and one he hadn't *needed* to use ... till the All-Stars, that is.
