Top Gun (1986) UNEDITED REACTION (early access)

Ok, I'll keep it in mind!!

Great reaction! I love this movie! For some great 80s-ness and some great animation, I highly recommend the 1986 animated classic, Transformers: The Movie. Besides the stellar animation, it has one of the greatest 80's scores and soundtracks.

So having finished the movie. You should watch this reaction video by a couple of real fighter pilots https://youtu.be/0z0UjYJiLmQ Yeah, it changed a lot. The only time planes are flying that close is in air shows. They usually are so far apart the two "close planes" are like specks relative to each other. So for the opening. There are a lot more hostile acts like that that have happened than you might think. Off the top of my head i can probably come up with a dozen in the last decade. Just in the last month there are reports of nuclear armed russian jets overflying Sweeden. There was an incident in April of 2001 where an American electronic intelligence plane was flying off the coast of China when Chinese jets started playing tag with it. One of the jets got too close, got hit by a propeller (pilot killed) and the Americans had to land on a Chinese airbase where they were prisoner for 12 days. Love the movie. I again will reiterate YOU NEED TO WATCH HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER ! lol. Everything you like about this you'll find in the movie except it's about submarines. It along with LOTR are two of my all time favorite movies. It came out in March 1990. It's a spy movie based on a book by the same name that was so accurate the author, Tom Clancy, was investigated (and cleared of any wrongdoing) for releasing classified info and actually got hired by the CIA despite his background being as an insurance salesman. He wrote like 20 novels in the series and its still being written by another author since his death in '13. He now has 5 movies based off his books, 1 inspired by them and an Amazon series inspired by his books
