2022-05-13 15:54:05 +0000 UTCWhen I first watched this I was just starting high school and i loved Ferris, i think when you're young you either want to be Ferris or be with him lol (or both!), and you think the movie's about him. Rewatching it was more about Cameron and Jeannie learning to stop worrying about ferris and blaming him, and take control of their own lives. And also, about Rooney NOT being able to let Ferris go. Cam and Jeannie were way happier than at the start, and Rooney, well...yikes. Ferris is just ferris, a force of nature influencing all around him. Theres not much to his character (except ego and sass), his messaging is shallow and entitled, but he is essential as a catalyst for the other more grounded characters.

2022-05-13 13:20:57 +0000 UTCDefinitely an iconic movie, and it still makes me laugh! I showed this one to my kids when they were around 14 and they LOVED it! They then made all their friends watch it too. Oh, and if you haven't seen it, you guys need to watch the SuperBowl commerical. They did a fun little parody off of the movie, and its hilarious!
