Hope you watch and react to the rest! I really enjoyed this first episode too. Everything in the show reveals the story without telling too much. The interaction between Marc and Steven is great. As you said, you can tell Marc cares about Steven, not just with getting him a date but with other details. I mean, he went out and bought him a new fish when his other one died.

Which super fun with the whole Marc/Steven thing. Ammit eats the heart of people whos heart weighs heavy against a Feather of Ma'at (Goddess of Truth). She had the head of a crocodile, the forebody of a lion, and the hindquarters of a hippo. She wasn't a goddess, but also who cares.

I’m super interested just from this first episode, and Oscar Isaac is doing a fantastic job so far. Can’t wait to see where this show goes, and if it ties into other marvel properties at all

And the Anubis creature is called a jackal and the voice Steven hears is Khonshu the Egyptian Moon God who made Marc/Steven Moon Knight as well as his Avatar. Ethan Hawke's character is the avatar of Ammit, who is a goddess of the Underworld who judges people before they enter the afterlife and devours the souls of the unworthy I think.
