Turning Red UNEDITED REACTION (all access)

Comments

I agree with you Dollypeg. I am quite appalled at their reaction to this one. Women's periods are not something inappropriate. Talking about it is just as normal as talking about your feet, your nose or your hair. Thinking otherwise is nothing else than the result of the internalized misogyny that has been ingrained into our brains for millenia. I also thought at first that they were very progressive in their views, but when it comes to some stuff relating to women they have proved themselves more than once, even if unintentionally... I am probably not going to continue supporting them, which is a shame cause I think they are cool, their reactions are fun and they are well intentioned. If only they would listen to the girls here when they complain, and strive to be better every day! But they are not that interested in listening, I don't think. Guys don't like thinking about that, but not actively standing against these backwards ways of thinking continues to make them complicit of the 'otherization' of womens bodies. It's sad so this is a wrap for me! Hope you see this response Dollypeg! Chances are they will delete my comment, cause I have seen them do this to comments of other upset female subscribers before.

yo just stop lol

(Copy and pasted my comment from the last upload of this, sorry if that's annoying just really wanted an answer on this) I feel a bit weird about subscribing to ya'lls patreon after watching this one. I'm fine with my views not entirely aligning with the people I support on here but I'd just kind of always assumed you guys were fairly progressive dudes. Idk why. I'm not that bothered about our thoughts on representing menstruation in children's fiction not aligning but after reading ur replies to some other comments I just got a little concerned about what other things you might think are inappropriate to have in kids movies. So I'm just gonna straight up ask would u guys be ok with a non straight character or relationship in a disney or Pixar movie? I would just personally not be comfortable continuing to support u guys if u were uncomfortable with that.
