I don't know what it is about asian media, but the storylines and tropes differ clearly from western media and that makes it a lot less predictable to me. I also love the focus on style, just beautiful pictures. That moment when the crown prince sees the burning city across the lake was such a fantastic gut-punch and at the same time it looked just beautiful, the lighting and the framing of the shot... I'll stop gushing now but yeah, this show is so far absolutely worth a watch.
