Animator Reacts

Honestly I've always liked them all, except for Wall-E (never have really liked it personally but that's my opinion), my number 1 vote is 'Coco' though.

Yeap. My nephew's had the DVD of WALL-E, and in the language and subtitles there was an English commentary option. I think it was the director and one or two of the animators, maybe the producer, i don't remember that exactly. But it's watching the movie normally, with the main audio lowered and they talking over it, they talk about the creation process for the story, the characters, the animation, they tell anecdotes and stuff. It's very interesting and entertaining too. It's like listening to a making of while watching the movie. Like for example the back to the future trilogy making of it's incredible. They did it at a studio, the whole town of hill valley, the recorded The past first, and then changed some things and trashed the town to film the present, also, when filming the second movie, which they never thought they would get to make, the little scene at the end of doc Brown coming back to get them to the future was a joke, they never thought the movie would do well. Anyway, in the second movie, they had to reshoot the scenes of the past, and then mix them with scenes from the previous movie. So they got the actors and extras that were at the enchantment under the sea dance to do the entire choreography of the dance all over again. Or the explanation of how they did the scene in future of the dining room at the McFly's house where there are like four our five characters played by Michael J. Fox at the same time on screen.

Oh, I thought it meant that they'd already seen it so it would be one of their commentaries instead of a reaction. Didn't know there was a WALL-E commentary but I guess I forgot that it's not an uncommon thing for movies to have.

I'm still hoping to see THE SECRET OF NIMH show up on one of these polls.

was really disappointed by Monster Uni, a pretty weak movie, I really really love Wall-E, it has a special place in my heart :)

Wall.e is my first choice but I also adore Coco & as others have said Inside Out & Up are fantastic two.

I say coco then Onward then Luca. Luca has some AMAZING animation though. It was too realistic and they were told to make it look more cartoony to fit the movie.

Oh when they get to Inside Out!

Coco is amazing! I’m waiting for Up and Inside Out! Inside Out has to be one of Disney’s most mature film in my opinion!
