2022-02-09 21:41:42 +0000 UTCI'm voting for Seven b/c David Fincher, but if you are going to the Nolan Batman movies, it might be interesting to do the previous Batman movies so you understand the context of how Batman was being portrayed in film. Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992) were both directed by Tim Burton and I find them enjoyable. Batman Forever starts to go downhill but is kinda fun b/c Jim Carry is the Riddler. Batman and Robin (the last one before Nolan) is horrifically bad, though it might be fun to react to in a (it's so bad it's now funny kinda way). I'd at least watch the Burton ones before starting Nolan so you can see how he kinda changed the game. Additionally I'd like to recommend the classic Bruce Timm "Batman: The Animated Series" as a potential animation reaction. It's great.
