Man they REALLY love their flashbacks to pad out the episodes lol. But these are great fights. Watching these reminds me of using Sakon/Ukon, Tayuya, and Kimimaro in Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4. You can only use them in their CS2 forms, and they're all really good. Funnily, out of all of them, Tayuya was the most OP and easy to use with her flute attack (the close range one). She could hit opponents really easy from any angle. Kimimaro was also really powerful, actually deadlier than Tayuya, but not all of his attacks were as safe to use or abuse. Some of them had weaknesses that could be exploited. Sakon/Ukon was the most interesting. You actually played as both. One of his attacks had him switch between Sakon and Ukon taking control, which changed their moves slightly. Ukon was slower with his attacks, but had super armor. Kuchiyose: Rashoumon was one of their super attacks that acted as a counter if you hit them while they were doing the pose... if I remember right. His other was a multi-hit combo where each hit consisted of either a triple punch or triple kick. Kimimaro's two specials were Dance of the Clematis: Vine followed by Dance of the Clematis: Flower, and then Dance of the Seeding Fern. The Dance of the Clematis: Vine + Dance of the Clematis: Flower was a special that worked off of an activation hit that went to a special cutscene for it, while Dance of the Seeding Fern worked in real time and attacked an area around Kimimaro (after he'd go underground), which could cause major damage (or could just be blocked if the opponent was on guard). Tayuya's two specials also worked on an activation hit, but was easy to land because that hit was a soundwave that surrounded her. The one attack was Mateki: Genbu Soukyoku, which had her 3 summons do a combo attack on the enemy, and the other was Mateki: Mugen Onsa which was the binding Genjutsu on Shikamaru. Speaking of, Kiba and Shikamaru were also fun to play as. Kiba's attacks were as wild as his Taijutsu here, and Shikamaru had some really cool tricks with his thinking stance. Also, while other characters block when standing still - which will eventually cause their guard to break after too many hits, and they'll still take chip damage from strong hits - Shikamaru's "block" actually has him straight up avoid most attacks, so his guard can't be broken and he doesn't take chip damage as easily. Though in that game Itachi, One-Tailed Kyuubi Naruto, Hiruzen, Tayuya, and CS2 Sasuke were the strongest to play as. Neji was also really good too, with his large Rotation special, his ability to cancel mid-combo and start another combo, his ability to cancel at those points in his combo INTO his specials, and his 64 Palms special draining the opponent's chakra completely on top of doing lots of damage. Oh... right... the episode lol. Kimimaro's a badass, Tayuya's cool and (imo) pretty hot (and notice how Shikamaru always fights the girls with attitude?), and the part with Kiba was so hearwrenching for me. While Chouji and Neji's fights were rough because both of them "died", out of the remaining 3 Kiba's was the roughest because it seemed like he was slowly dying and wouldn't make it throughout the fight...
