28 Days Later is a great recommendation for another zombie movie that prompts discussion on the nature of humanity. It looks like you've seen Shaun of the Dead so you know that's a fun one, and is probably the best subversion of the genre. I believe you threw out the idea of watching some horror comedies, as well, and to that I say very enthusiastically "yes, please!"

Happy new year! Admittedly not a fan favorite so i don't expect it to win any polls but i enjoyed dawn of the dead the remake. ......and of course resident evil franchise (at least first 2-3) i know I've seen some obscure b rated ones but can't remember (delving into netflix list-they prob have biggest horror genre of all the major streaming servers....hulu the least.- my idea of a good evening in with chips and cocoa)

The only zombie movie I've seen is Shaun of the Dead (which is hilarious). You guys are doing great! I'm always amazed at the sheer volume of stuff you put out.

I haven't seen enough zombie movies to recommend them. I think I remember 28 Days Later being good. I recommend Kingdom on Netflix, but like Just Lily said, it's not as popular as mainstream zombie films. It's a short series but great. Anyway, I know you want to stick with movies, so maybe watch that series on your own or if you like Squid Game.

I like Kingdom on Netflix. Not a movie, but still. Good Korean zombie show. What was interesting to me about this one is that it's set in 16th century. I understand it's maybe not popular enough to react to, but something to watch when you have free time
