Edward Scissorhands UNEDITED REACTION (early access)

Edward Scissorhands is one of my favorite movies! This is the perfect fairy tale, it's definitely a modern take of Frankenstein! And that's why everything is not based in reality and over dramatic and things like where did he get the ice from doesn't matter because that's not the point of the story, this story is all based on emotion. Edward is a wonderful character, you instantly fall in the love with just like Peg did, I think anyone would have taken him in! The way he looks at the world is great and you see it all over his face and eyes. You also quickly get a grasp on his unique personality, from the hairstyles, dog hair styles and the sculptures and I love that after a while you see the entire town changing and bringing a little piece of him into their lives. For me this is Johnny Depp's greatest performance, like you mentioned in the video he only has a few lines and when he does speak its important but he never needed to talk at all because you completely understand how he's feeling without words and the music as you also mentioned helps great with that too. One of my favorite soundtracks of all time! This is a movie you can watch any time whether for Halloween, Christmas or any other time. And just so everyone knows you can also watch this on Hulu!

Guys, you didn't blur out the video haha. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ This was awesome and I'm so happy you watched this. It's sort of perfect for this time of year, because it's in between a Halloween and Christmas vibe. Tim Burton seems to like mixing those themes, huh? I love this movie. Thank youuuuuu. You made my weekend!

Yeah, i don't always relate cause I sorta love quiet suburbia and for me that's the dream. But I see the artistic soul of the man, and you have to respect that.

Well I think the execution flogging is a seprate sort of human phenomina. The same one that continues today with sports and boxing and what not. I really think you see mass community action in this movie on social media. You can create your own safe "community" and the algorithm will just keep feeding you that until not only do you only consume one sort of content, but any sort of content that isn't like that, or questions your ideals is unbearable and must be destroyed.

This film was a significant part of my growing up. I used to love falling asleep to the soundtrack. It’s so beautiful and haunting. I think many of Burton’s films are somewhat autobiographic in nature. Tim was by all accounts a quirky and creative child who already was experimenting with his art. I think many of his protagonists are representations of how he’s always felt—quirky creative geniuses who suffer from being misunderstood by the bland, pastel, hive-mind masses. I think you’re also absolutely correct about the danger of the masses who just stand around waiting for a reason to form a mob and take people down. After all, executions, flogging, and the like have been high entertainment for people for centuries.

Tim Burton did get his start in animation. he was an animator at Disney, and left partially because he hated drawing pretty, smooth lines all the time. He grew up in a typical suburban home much like the ones seen here and kind of hated it. he had few friend and enjoyed hanging out in cemetery's and people generally thought he was pretty weird. when you watch this movie through that leans its easy to see what's really going on here.
