Wait I paid extra but the movie is silent. I can’t hear the whole reaction but it’s a rip off. Was hoping for the whole movie reaction plus all sound.

This movie is also available on Amazon Prime with a subscription, if that helps anyone. And great reaction you two, as always! This is a classic. And good horror movies to react to would be Evil Dead (you could even watch the 2013 version), The Possession (2012), The Orphanage (2007), It Follows (THIS IS A MUST, I'M TELLING YOU), The Wailing (2016), The Witch (2015), The Descent (2005), and Drag Me To Hell (2009- this one's interesting). You may have already seen some of these; I tried to pick ones you haven't yet covered.

Really glad you enjoyed this. Yes, the production values, cinematography and editing of this movie are superb. It takes what could otherwise have been a ridiculous premise and makes it feel legitimate and foreboding. (Example: There's an entire section of the movie where Rachael is just doing Google searches and looking things up in a library - something that should be very difficult to make cinematic. But the editing, music and cinematography somehow turns this into a gripping sequence.) James makes an interesting point in the post-movie discussion how it almost feels like they studied people's phobias and somehow incorporated that into the movie. Like, when you describe what's on the cursed video, there really isn't any scary about it. A ladder. A woman brushing her hair, etc. But yet they somehow used the exact combination of imagery and grain to really unsettle the viewer. Horror movie suggestion: One of my favorite movies of all times is the 2001 movie "The Others," starring Nicole Kidman. It's not outright Saw-levels of stomach-churning horror, but more suspense/mystery horror. It's also immaculately shot and acted. A handsome production all around. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it's not available on most mainstream digital services. (I have no idea what quirks in licensing or copyright law allowed this gem to fall through the cracks.) So even if you could, say, get a blu ray copy of it, your patrons might have difficulty following along. (It would still make for a good Youtube upload though.)

This isn't a horror movie, but I think you should really watch Sneakers (Robert Redford, River Phoenix, Dan Aykroyd, Sidney Poitier), I think it's a late 80s, early 90s movie. Just a really good, entertaining movie 😊 Also, pls watch the Japanese versions of The Ring, Grudge, etc. The American versions are OK but nothing like the original 😉

Hans Zimmer composed the score for this movie as well, which just adds to how great it is. Now you guys can watch Scary Movie 3 and understand it haha
