Hey Kai, for the most part yes, though in reality I would be quite surprised if we ever decided to revisit *all* our old assets. Doing anything (even small tasks) to 1000+ things takes a very long time. And most of the hard work is not in the photogrammetry side, but everything that comes after that. I am also looking forward to seeing some NeRF/SFM tech inside of Reality Capture though! Maybe then we won't have to be so anal about getting perfect source data and can work more loosely and quickly.

One question I have—do you guys keep the source material for your scanned assets after the assets are made? Just something I've been thinking about with all the progress happening in AI-based novel view synthesis recently (has been like 2/3 new radiance field papers being published every week). In the near future (next ~5 years?), I wouldn't be surprised if traditional photoscanning and structure-from-motion get some serious upgrades, at which point it could be really neat to be able to return to your old assets and reprocess them with updated techniques!
