Psycho UNEDITED REACTION (early access)

You're after thoughts got cut off at the end. Psycho was the first film to use a lot of those kind of camera shots especially when the light is swinging in the fruit cellar. Alot of moves still use that today in intense scenes. Also it was the first film to have a toilet in it lol

Also I dont know if you guys know this there's a great film called Hitchcock starring the one and only Sir Anthony Hopkins as the great man himself ably supported by Dame Helen Mirron as his wife and Scarlet Johannsen as Janet Leigh our doomed lead lady in psycho its a great film.

Yes at last although it did cut off just as you guys started to give us your thoughts. Norman Bates was based on a real life killer named Ed Gein he had a strange relationship with his mother they lived very remotely and when she died he became unhinged digging bodies up who were around the same age as his late mother he lived in filth but boarded up his mother's room so it would remain perfect. He killed 2 local women as they reminded him of his mother. When he was caught they found many grotesque things like soup bowls made out of skulls lamp shades made from human skin a full lady suit sewn together just like buffalo bill in silence of the lambs and so many more hideous trophies. I especially love this film as I think it was the first film horror film that is that the monster as it were wasn't other worldly or paranormal he was your neighbour or just someone you knew the boy next door which I'm sure in 1960 was terrifying as this concept had never been done before.

If you guys liked this you should try and watch at least the first episode of Bates Motel if you haven't seen it. The show got it's inspiration from this movie and great way how they depict Norman Bates
