Captain Marvel UNEDITED REACTION (early access)

Tbh I don’t think either of us want to watch it again…lol

I think that a re watch for you guys in your own time is in order. Instead of taking in the story as it came you kept trying to guess and not taking in the info given to you and provided in Gaurdians. I'm in agreeance its not the best in the MCU, and I think they spoilt her character a little in End Game. Which if you've watched before this has that preconceived impact. As for Carol having a chip on her shoulder and being cocky the entire movie, was a testament to her being a woman in the air force and having to have that kind of persona to excell. It's also a take on woman empowerment and I would say that it did a good job on that. Not great. Delving into Carol's past abit more and showing more of the struggle she had overcoming sexist attitudes and comments would have helped to deepen her character and the growth of her character as a whole. I dunno, I think that with everything said you guys need a rewatch to appreciate some of the subtleties and back stories. It's not a great movie, but I think it deserves more than what your after-thoughts conveyed. But that's just personal opinion. 🙂

It's really not a big deal

Granted this is far from the best movie in the MCU, I think that James didn't get into it because he kept on trying to figure out what was going on based off of information he already knew but either got mixed up or just went in the wrong direction. For instance, he knew that Kree were involved, but incorrectly assumed that Carol/Veers and Yon-Rogg (Jude Law) were from Xandar for half the movie, even though it was clearly stated in the very beginning that (you're supposed to believe that) they were Kree. Also, he totally almost spoiled the Captain Marvel's powers within the first 5 minutes by suggesting that the thing on Carol's neck was a dampener, a guess that no one really should've have been able to make if they hadn't seen just how OP Captain Marvel was in End Game. I'm sorry, but as the person who's seen most of the MCU before, it is your responsibility to be more careful when saying things during these reactions. If you're making guesses based on prior knowledge that you shouldn't have, keep those guesses to yourself. As far as the MCU goes, we're here to watch Tailbrush's reactions.
