158 Chat (Huh, not as ditzy as expected)

I looked over in sheer confusion at the event which had just transpired. From the outrage in my soul, I knew for a fact that this was not something that Fortuna wanted to happen. This means that it should not have happened, but it still did. So, the sheer confusion being built inside my head was more than clear.

Was this girl so fated to show off her panties that she could even break Luck's hold on me!? That thought caused my brain to shut down for a moment as I stared blankly at Touka's panties but recovered as she muttered to herself helplessly, looking for her glasses.

I let out a sigh and reached beyond her, picked up her glasses, and handed them to her.

"Here you go," I spoke out somewhat blandly as this situation was still freaking baffling. She accepted them quickly with a blush dyeing her face as she put them on and stood up.

"Thank you. I would have never found them if I was looking by myself." She said sincerely as she bowed her head in thanks. She was clearly used to her poor eyesight getting in the way of her life, but she should work on how she searched for the fucking things.

Ignoring the fact that her skirt flipped over when she fell, she had her ass high in the air as she was looking for them. Honestly, if I did not know about this little habit, I would have thought this was her way of seducing me. It felt like a move Stella would have made, at least.

But no, that was just how she searched for her glasses, as she had to have her face near the floor to even have a chance of finding them. Even then, I thought her ass high in the air as she searched was something she needed to work on.

There was probably not a single student willing to take advantage of her state, considering the likely death that awaited them afterward, but it was still ridiculous. She was basically giving off a show whenever she tripped and needed to find her glasses.

From what he could recall about this anime, she did that fucking often, as well as if she was destined to show off her panties to the world at large. I let out a sigh as I was being dramatic again. She may have defeated Fortuna to show off her panties, but it was probably not as drastic as he thought it was. The more likely scenario was that this was not harmful to him, so Fortuna's passive effect did not kick in.

Meeting her might be her work, as Touka was an important character, but that might not be on her shoulders either. Touka had just finished her match, and it was likely she had to get herself checked in the Infirmary afterward, even if Shizuku did not deal any real damage to her.

So she left the Infirmary quickly and met him, who was also retreating from the Infirmary. This really might have been an absolute coincidence.

"Don't worry about it; I bumped into you as well, so the least I could do was help you pick up your glasses. Although you hit me pretty hard, so you're probably in a hurry and rushed." I spoke out my own thoughts about this, and she blushed further.

"Sorry, I wanted to get to the office before it closed. There are papers that need to be picked up and sent to the student council room." She explained, clearly embarrassed that she crashed into me because she was in such a hurry. I looked over at her as this moment hit a memory ringing in my head.

"Well, I won't hold you back any longer as this sounds important, but do you need any help?" I ask with a friendly smile on my face. From what I can recall, this was the scenario that led to Ikki and his squad meeting an interesting Blazer.

"Thank you for your offer, Prince-san, but I don't need the help." She spoke out quickly, showing that she was okay with going by herself. I felt my lips twitch at her words.

"Oh, you already knew who I was already, Toudou-san?" I ask with an amused smile on my face. Instead of flinching away from my question or blushing it away, her eyes sharpened, and she stared at me with a small smile.

"Utakata-kun said you have a certain smell about you that reminds him of himself, and your winning streak speaks for itself, Prince-san." She explained bluntly, not bothered at all by that fact being known. I let out a light laugh at her bluntness, but I could see how she got information about me.

"Well, I never thought I would be so obvious that Misogi-san could find me dangerous," I spoke out with a shrug, not all that concerned about my info getting leaked to one of my competitors.

"Not going to deny you are a Fate Manipulator?" She asked sharply, and I just gave her another grin.

"No, hiding it would be pointless. You would not believe the denial, and I have no reason to hide it. So what if you know what I can do? It does not make it any easier to deal with me. The impossible is impossible no matter how much information you have, Toudou-san." I explained with a harmless smile that had her frowning.

"Awful arrogant of you, Prince-san. Utakata-kun also possesses a device that manipulates Fate, but I can defeat him in the same way." She chided me, clearly not happy about the arrogance I was displaying, and tried to warn me against it.

I looked at her for a moment before letting out a small laugh.

"You really are too nice, Toudou-san," I spoke out with a smile on my face, and she seemed surprised about that response. She blushed and looked away, the sharp feeling coming from her dissipating from the sudden compliment.

"I'm not that nice, Prince-san." She spoke out quickly, but that did not mesh well with me. She was clearly someone with a heart of gold but willing to fight with everything she had to protect her dreams.

"An enemy would have let me continue being arrogant so they could take advantage of that weakness. You, on the other hand, are trying to blame me for the mistake. If that is not kindness, what is Toudou-san?" I asked with a slight grin on my face.

She took in my words and seemed to flounder for a response, as she was not expecting the conversation to go this way, not after the pointed questions and sharp reactions from her.

"That's just me taking care of my juniors. As the Student Council President, I hope that every student reaches their potential." She explained again, but I just laughed at her response.

"Just because your kindness is not reserved for just me does not make it any less kind, Toudou-san. Just take the compliment for what it is." I spoke out with a grin, and again, she seemed to lose her words.

Still, while I appreciated her efforts, I needed her to understand that she was not as strong as she believed.

"But your advice is going to fall on deaf ears, Toudou-san. I know about Misogi-san and how limited he is. While he would find it impossible to close the gap between the both of you, I am far more physically gifted." I spoke out with a smile as I glanced at her with all my focus.

She seemed happy that the conversation was going back to a place she could understand but was upset that I was not taking her advice.

"That does not make defeating you impossible, Prince-san, just harder than expected." She spoke out firmly, her glasses glinting in a threatening manner. Stupid anime worlds and their odd happenings.

"True, but I don't think you have it in you to defeat me, especially since you don't know what concept I manipulate, just that Misogi-san and I share the same branch," I spoke out lightly with a grin. She focused on me with a slight glare but did not refute my statement.

She knew that Misogi was not exactly a ringing endorsement for Fate Manipulators. He could do so much, but instead, he crippled himself with his own mindset. Such a strange creature.

"Do you really have time to chat with me like this, Senpai? Don't you have to get some papers?" I asked as she seemed like she was going to say something else.

She paused for a moment as she was not expecting that before her face went red, losing the sharpness she was displaying. She flushed and looked like she was about to panic, so she bolted from her position to get to the office before it closed.

As she did, I let out a laugh and followed along. She may not want the help, but I wanted to get involved with what came next, so I was going to help.

She gave me a look as I kept up with her pace but said nothing as she did not want to miss out on getting those papers, and she could not distract herself with more conversation.

So, the both of us made it to the office despite her not wanting me to help in the first place. When she saw the mountain of papers, she looked awkwardly between me and the papers. She knew carrying so many papers was only going to lead to her dropping them as she could not see where she was going. On the other hand, she could not leave these papers here as the office was closing soon.

So she looked over at me reluctantly. She did not want to ask for help, but she had no other option.

"Sorry, Prince-san, can you help me bring these papers to the Student Council." She spoke out helplessly, and I gave her a grin as I picked up half of them. Figuring if I took all of them and placed them in my inventory, she would be huffing and puffing the entire time back to the room.

At least this way, she still has a use here, and even if she is embarrassed, she has to ask for help from the person she rejected earlier.

"No, Problem, Toudou-san, I did offer to help earlier, after all," I spoke out with a grin. Following along, she led the way to the Council room.

The Blazer messing with the training grounds was not that interesting in the long haul, but wire manipulation is always nice. If only to pull off some sick moves like Walter C. Dornez!

Although this guy had Doll Manipulation as his thing, he used wires to do it, so maybe he was just a guy who pushed his Device in a unique direction, unlike the other scrubs. Maybe his base is a Wire Manipulator. I could only hope as I was looking forward to that, if only because I wanted to.
