No chapter 7 release yet.
But I am working on it, so I decided to make a post about it.

I am working on the chapter enemies at the moment.

As you can all probably guess, there is a running theme here.
Here is also an updated portrait collection:

I should say that not everyone in here will show up yet.
Some characters I just drew at some point, but they will show up eventually.
I am trying to keep them really diverse, but I am totally open to suggestions.
Please let me know if there is some kind of guy you'd like to see in game (just to make my life easier I am limiting myself to chubs and muscle chubs body types though).
I usually divide the chapter work in three parts.
First is the story part.
This is where I look at my list of chapters (I have them all laid out on a spreadsheet) and from there I flesh out the ideas.
I write some bullet points on what should happen in there and then I start to code it, write the dialogue and do any art needed for this. (New tiles for the map, new characters, anything).
Secondly I work on the dungeon and the enemies.
I do any new art for the dungeon, and try to make sure I don't come up with some stupidly hard idea.
Then I work on the enemies designs, their extra art, and all the attacks and balancing on how they will play out.
This is where I also work on new moves for our heroes and to make sure their levels and the enemies are consistent with each other.
Finally I work on the chapter epilogue.
I used to call it the "post-game" part, but it made it sound like the game ended there.
This is where I do all the NPC extra art, and add the small optional quests to gain friendship with them.
Also, when I don't feel like I'm too behind schedule, I will try to add a new interaction with some older enemy, so they can get some love too.
Right now I'm in the second part. I have to balance characters, finish creating the new enemies and the dungeon and all that.
This is usually the part I struggle with the most, since I have to balance numbers and come up with attacks that don't break the game.
I thought it would be interesting to comment a bit about my methods.

Thank for the lovely words. I agree on the lack of business chubs or at least chubs with suits. I do have plans for a future area where they would make more sense, but I haven't gotten around it yet. The new hire idea sounds nice, I'll make a note of it, and see if I can add one somewhere ^_^

Being said, I admit I'm hoping to see some business chubs, would love to see a kinda clueless fresh-hire, his backpack has ridden up the back of his too tight polo-shirt causing some unintended exposure π Either way, always excited to see what comes next!
