Cherry Bomb (MLB: Alix Kubdel as typical Alix Kubdel)

Hey, kittens! Happy to write to you! So, my gorgeous Alix! The series version of a classic "tomboy" personality. I got lucky — the writers made her slightly more feminine than such characters usually are. Even though we only see glimpses of her, in my imagination, her life is bursting with events.

Alix is a tireless adventurer for trouble. If other heroes need a problem from outside to kickstart a chain of events, Alix generates problems on her own. Even if university teachers lock her in a stuffy classroom, she’ll come up with something that makes them regret leaving her alone. Everything Alix does isn’t out of malice or inner rebellion. It’s just her nature. She physically can’t sit idle, and usually does the first thing that pops into her ginger head.

Like today. She’s finishing a week-long job of painting a firewall on a rooftop. That same evening, cops caught her, waiting at the bottom of the fire escape. They asked why and for whom the girl did what she did, and Alix just shrugged. The only person she answered was Michelangelo, and even then out of solidarity — and because he later spent half a year covering her creation with his frescoes.

At first, she shrugged at him too. But then she thought, and finally replied:

“Just ’cause…” 🤷‍♀️

Alix is petite but surprisingly strong (hope I managed to show that visually). Since all her creative (and not-so-creative) ideas, plus her lifestyle, usually require some prep.

She’s lonely in her own way, but that’s not a problem. It’s not some personal flaw — she’s just fine on her own. It’s a gift she handles with care. To her many friends and pals, this seems odd, even pitiable. Which baffles Alix to no end…

Ah! I could talk about this thin little redhead for hours. But I’m afraid your ears would melt off from all my English. Oh! We’ve caught Alix mid-transition between her “series” self and her fully grown version. Though I’m sure you noticed.

Know why? Because you’re real detectives! No, seriously — you aced my riddle. Bravo! Standing ovation from me. Zero sarcasm this time, kittens. You crushed it. Y’know what? I’m thrilled you’re playing along. I’m no lone wolf — I’m no Alix — so your involvement makes me happy. It’s awesome!

But! My next riddle will be ten times harder. So flex those brains, prep your puzzle skills, wake up your inner Sherlock! I believe in you. And thank you.

P.S. Explaining why I uploaded two versions (with and without the tattoo). Even though everyone’s used to my “pants vs. no-pants” edits, heh. I just lo-o-o-oved the muscles on her arm so much, I couldn’t bear to cover them up with a tattoo!

P.P.S. About the final tier version. I’ll post it today — the only difference is I removed the logo frame. No new details, just my tiny fight against pirates (who, honestly, I’m more grateful to than angry at).
