Happy Halloween 2024 (MLB AU: Mayura as Marinette Dupain-Cheng)

Hello, kittens! My newest work just for you! Finished it just now, hoping to finish it in time for Halloween 🎃

Well, I'm exhausted😪😴 , so I'll keep it short. I apologize 😅😄

All right, kittens!🧛‍♂ Tonight is the darkest night of the year, and tonight fires are burning on the hills, hoping to chase away the darkness. Children are begging for candy (or maybe they're not children, or people at all). Spirits good and evil roam the land this night. Be careful! 😱

But as long as a warm hearth is burning in your homes, as long as there is coziness and love in them, there is nothing to be afraid of. And I wish you this coziness, and I give you mine, so you can celebrate All Saints' Day Eve in peace.

And outside my window fell the first snow this fall - it's beautiful and very symbolic 😊

I've been thinking for a long time, who to choose for Halloween drawing. Shadybug fits perfectly, but I already drew her last year. I even drew werewolves and vampires. And then I remembered that I've been wanting to draw Marinette from my AU for a while now. There she plays the role of Mayura. In my opinion, this is one of the most gothic and dark villains in MLB, not without charm.

Marinette, however, is not such a villain in this universe (nor, for that matter, is Natalie). She (like Natalie) is driven by love. However, like the original, she's opposed to Mr. Bug, so we'll put her down as an “anti-hero.” Or “dark heroes”, sorry, I didn't manage to find that term in English.

In short, she's a beautiful girl who, though she serves evil, has one foot on the path of good.

Oh, I can't be brief 🤣 God knows I'm the worst at it 😁

I'll talk about Mayura - Marinette in a separate post. Yes, it's a very beautiful card (and I hope it will be to your liking), but I plan to publish the same picture, without the caption, so that nothing will distract you from the beauty of our familiar brunette.

And yes, I think she looks pretty darn good in that costume. I can't wait to work on her design. So far I've only been able to get into the gloves and shoes - I really wanted to get the color of the peacock feathers into them, so I hope I did. Oh, and I hope you can make out the lettering, and understand why Marinette has such a "relaxed" pose 😂
