This drawing was an experiment for me: I'm always looking for something new in drawing style, because it's boring for me to do the same thing. An artist has to change, otherwise it's not an artist, it's a craftsman đ This time I experimented with lines (I really hope you can see the differences from my other styles!). I usually make lines in a drawing FIRST and then create volume with colors. This time I did the opposite, and first I made the volume and then I started drawing the lines, additionally highlighting them with colors.
It turned out in the spirit of comic books. I like it, although the technique is not yet perfect. I hope you like it too! đ đ
Kittens! I'm working on two drawings at once right now (this one was the third, but I finished it), and I really hope to be done in time to wish you a Happy Halloween! Because drawing for Halloween is a tradition I don't want to break. In short, I hope to do everything. P.S. Patreon forced me to change something in my subscription settings. I'm not quite sure what it is, but it's for those who subscribe through the Apple app. In general, as far as I understand it, Patreon has left no choice in front of the creators, it's moving everyone to the new subscription system by default. To be honest, I'm confused about the difference between these subscription systems. At least I didn't find any differences. Maybe my English is too weak to understand such lofty things

I think the subscription change they are talking about is that they are switching from "first of the month" to "subscription" model of payment. "First of the month" is that all the patrons pay at the first of the month (this has how it usually works). Subscription model means that patrons pay on the day that they subscribed. So if I became a patron of yours on the 12th of October, I would pay you again on the 12th of November. If I understand correctly, that means that instead of getting one big lump sum near the start of the month, you'll get a small stream of little payments throughout the month.

2024-10-29 14:37:42 +0000 UTCAs for the subscriptions from what I understand it's mostly two things. 1. Apple is apparently changing how they take a fee on subscriptions. As such it's best to subscribe directly through Patreon. 2. I think that Patreon is changing when they bill patrons. I haven't looked into it yet. But it sounds like they are charging at the end of the month instead of on the day you joined. That feels like it could be an easy way to cheat the system, but hopefully people won't be able to just cancel before the end of a month to get free content.
