The inimitable Alya Césaire, v.2 - separate drawings (MLB: Alya Césaire )

Kittens! I have prepared a little bonus at the end of this post, so read it to the end!

This drawing depicts a workout. While female athletes would prefer to train in a leotard to get used to its weight (and I've written before that leotards can weigh a lot), most girls don't. Alya is not an exception 

The reason is very simple: rhinestones in contact with the carpet of the ring on which they perform, often lost. Usually at the end of performances the whole floor is strewn with rhinestones, and on the leotard have to restore the lost stones. So we have to practice in what we have. 

Alya has this set from the fashion house Agreste. Marinette isn't cool enough to know how to sew sturdy sportswear :) For this AU, both Marinette and Cesar play for the French team - coached by Madame Bustier, who I also hope to draw in sports style someday XD They could be coached by Monsieur Domocles. But I'm afraid your eyes won't survive the sight of a bearded old man in a tight leotard 😁🤣

Oh, Cesar also has a bandage on her knee. I think you know what that is. For those of you who don't know, it helps prevent ligament injury.  It's a very bad idea to go to a show with a knee or elbow injury. 

(now, a little bit about the near future) 

I had planned to post the most intriguing and hot part of this drawing series tomorrow. But I'll have to be without internet for two days, so I won't be able to please you until Friday! I hope you'll wait. It will be published in the morning. I'll make a disclaimer: I don't trust the Patreon tool, which allows you to publish posts on a timer. It's never worked properly for me yet, and I'm guessing what the problem is, but there's nothing I can do about it 

And right now, I'm continuing work on the next series. And by golly, I'm sure you're gonna love it! These drawings will be about a very flexible and agile girl, the opposite of Cesar, and it's not Marienette.
