Hello, kittens! It's so good to see you again! π
While I was in the hospital, I couldn't draw (because I couldn't focus my eyes on one point, it's a feature of my disease), but I managed to come up with not only new subjects for you, but also one interesting project.
Here's the gist of it. I really love both ballet and rhythmic gymnastics. What's more, before starting Patreon, I used to sew author leotards for rhythmic gymnastics. I have worked both within my country and for Europe, a couple of my leotards still have performances in Canada too :)
So I decided to combine my love for designing leotards for gymnastics and my favorite MLB fandom)))))) Anyway, first guesses are that it's an alternate universe where the characters in the show perform "on the mat" as gymnasts. I'm not sure if I'll be drawing comics based on this AU yet, but there will be plenty of drawings. And through text, I'll be explaining to you what's going on
At first I thought about writing a fanfic on this topic, but then I realized I don't have enough time for that π€£
Also, I don't think anyone has ever drawn anything like this before. That would be cool, gymnasts are really hot ;)) π₯
So this drawing is my trial work for this universe. I hope you guys like it
(I also made two versions of the leotard, one with a skirt and one without, I wonder which one you prefer?)
(Oh, and also, instead of masks, superheroes in this universe have special makeup for appearances)
And there's one more thing I can't keep quiet about.
This is the first post in a whole MONTH π«, and I thank you for continuing to support me without fresh content. I was terribly worried about what would happen to my Patreon for the time away, worried that you were all alone here. But after I was discharged from the hospital, it took me a long time to regain my sight. I restored it with special exercises, and I must admit that a month and a half is a very fast time, usually it is slower for multiple sclerosis victims.
But I did it! Now the image is bifurcated only at the very edge of the periphery, and I can draw again! Yay, yay, yay! There's nothing scarier for an artist than to be without vision. I'm drawing very slowly, though, because I'm getting a headache. But it's all temporary, I'm almost recovered and I'll be able to get back to my old frantic pace very soon.
I also want to say that I love you. Both those of you who stayed and those who left. You did a lot for me - I felt your support all the time. That means a lot to me. It means a lot to me. everything.
Thank you! In August I will try to get back to my old rhythm. I'm planning a project with rhythmic gymnastics, so the end of the summer will be dedicated to that
See you soon! π
With love and gratitude for your support, Tiana Lynx β€
