Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought Halloween Kills was in the plans regardless of polls? I just remember you guys talking about watching it on your previous Halloween uploads. Also, are we getting Scream?

I apologize if I didn't word that the best. It's not that I thought it was too good for you. It's just that I knew I was in the minority for my appreciation of The Village, and it kind of would've hurt to watch a reaction from someone who didn't like it. Given the general opinion of it, I figured it was statistically likely you'd fall into that dislike category. But I'm glad to hear you both love it.

I think the Village is tremendously underrated... which is why I don't want you to react to it. You see, most people (unfairly) call it terrible. While it's not perfect, it does have a lot of great elements to it. I just worry if you watch it, you'll have a reaction that falls in line with the majority - and you'll be very nonplussed about it, which would be a little painful for those who genuinely appreciate it.

I loved The Village (one of my favorite film scores too) but I think when it came out a lot of people didn't like it because it was marketed as horror when it's really more of a quiet thoughtful movie with some creepy elements. I think going in with the right expectations helps a lot. Love all your choices here though :)

Yo Signs scared the crap out of me when I first saw it in theaters lol Especially with dark weird figures in the night reminding me of skinwalkers (I lived on the rez lol)

Signs is a masterpiece, I love it. There is one specific scene that every kid got traumatized when watching for the first time lol

Signs was awesome! The Village is a little underrated imo, because once you've seen it and know, some of that suspense is gone, but when you're watching it for the first time, that story telling, the directing and the acting are just powerful and deep.

Agreed! Love them both! Signs is one of my favorite movies ever, but I love the Village too.

Argh, torn between Signs and The Village! I voted The Village (for Sigouney Weaver lol), but am happy for either one to win 😆 Shyamalan is a master at building tension and disguising plot points. If Psycho does win, I hope it's the original and not the remake. The original, I believe was the first to use certain camera shots and lighting techniques that are still used today.

'Signs' is good but since you guys are doing 'Sixth Sense' (if it won?) then I really think 'Psycho' deserves a chance. I've been waiting forever for a true classic black and white film haha :)
