2021-10-10 06:12:48 +0000 UTCOkay… so… She was killing the musical number because it’s Bette midler. She is first and foremost a singer. She also is a brilliant actress. She’s done more serious roles of course. She started getting big with the LGBTQ+ community and on Broadway and has had many many successful shows. I recommend beaches as a movie to watch with her in it because a certain person from Big Bang theory was also in it. I have a theory about the cemetery at the end. I think Winifred became a statue because of the hallowed ground. Also to quote “The Holiday”, which you should check out around Christmas time “I’m looking for a little corny in my life”. Cheesy is good. My pet peeve is when people pretend they aren’t being corny or patronising. For example, I hate Disney remakes but loved Space Jam 2. Space Jam 2 is sincere and knows they’re being ridiculous. Disney remakes pretend they aren’t patronising and ridiculous.
