dude i don't think people are intrested in the other options in general judging by the votes. if hocus pocus hadn't been there i would have just not even voted in that poll tbh the audience that wants the thing and stuff like that is a very small niche

I think the fact they called it a 'Horror' Halloween poll and put Hocus Pocus on it gave people a WTH? feeling. At the same time, I wonder if it still would've won if it were three family movies up against one Horror movie. 🤔

Exactly. I understand horror fans want their movies to be watched, but complaining that a poll has a bit of everything is weird...? Especially considering that these Halloween themed classics like Hocus Pocus, Practical Magic, Halloweentown, Addams Family etc, they tend to only be watched at this time of the year, while regular horror movies are watched all year round. C'mon horror fans! Don't be selfish and don't be bullies! Let people vote freely, and if your movie doesn't get watched immediately, just be patient and understanding.

I love real horror movies too, but clearly Halloween classics that are not scary are also very popular around here too (judging by the crushing victory of Hocus Pocus on the last poll). Don't let a couple of horror fanboys bully you into excluding the popular Halloween classics from your Halloween polls!

Don't worry about watching the less scary movies. Halloween isn't just about fear, its also about having fun and eating so much candy your full until Thanksgiving and ready to fill back up. And some of the less scary movies are timeless classics like Halloweentown or Practical Magic

Yes! Maybe two separate polls? One for horror films and one for Halloween films? I would love to watch movies like Poltergeist and The Others with you, but also Practical Magic would be amazing for this month! :) I'll watch anything and everything! 🎃

That's fine for me, I like horror! But would you please consider keeping non-scary Halloween specials in Halloween polls? Movies that are perfect for Halloween but not scary? Perhaps Practical Magic and Casper, please? 😊
