Again... I have no problem with Hocus Pocus but it is a very different film from the rest on the poll. That is all I was trying to say. The other movies are all considered horror movies... and yes, while they may be a little different, they are still all horror films! And the title of the poll was Halloween Horror. Hocus Pocus is a family film. Again... I was not hating on Hocus Pocus or the love for it. I was only suggesting that a family friendly Halloween movie should not be in the same poll as horror movies... that is all. Just my opinion.

2021-10-14 05:32:01 +0000 UTCHocus Pocus does it for me, it's so funny. Personally I won't watch any of the others even later on but that's just my taste :)
2021-10-08 12:52:43 +0000 UTCThis is the ultimate problem around Halloween. An entire genre of film fits the season, but not all Halloween movies can be watched all year. My husband and I have a list of movies and tv episodes that we watch every year and it’s hard trying to do it all at once since horror really can be watched anytime
2021-10-07 00:49:09 +0000 UTCI may just straight watch it, cause I love that movie lol
2021-10-06 14:56:39 +0000 UTCAh man I. Bummed that The Thing isn't polling higher. That is an AMAZING John Carpenter movie, and Kurt Russell is always a plus.
2021-10-05 23:40:52 +0000 UTCAgree!

2021-10-05 20:19:37 +0000 UTCPractical Magic is AWESOME
2021-10-05 17:14:06 +0000 UTCCould I please maybe suggest Practical Magic too for a future poll, if you want...? 🤗 It is very Halloweeny too! 😃
2021-10-05 16:57:50 +0000 UTCHocus Pocus!! I loooove it :D
2021-10-05 16:53:08 +0000 UTCI see no problem with this poll! They are all very different movies, and there is an option for everyone, isn't it how it should be? They are creating very varied polls and that is amazing. And by the way, I love gruesome horror movies, horror and thrillers are my favorite genres. Yet I still put my vote into Hocus Pocus.
2021-10-05 16:50:14 +0000 UTCHocus Pocus is a fun, silly, highly lovable Halloween classic. I watch it every single year.
2021-10-05 16:41:58 +0000 UTCI love Hocus Pocus with all my heart, but I first saw it when I was very young and the nostalgia really carries through. It's a fun movie and the actors all really commit to the bit. I just worry seeing it for the first time as an adult won't be as enjoyable - I know others who saw it later in life just didn't get it. Here's hoping they can appreciate the silliness and humor in it :)

2021-10-05 14:29:46 +0000 UTCYes, but Leah, that goes back to Roberts point of having a separate poll. For the horror fans on the channel, to see a kids movie take over the horror genre poll is a bit disappointing. And Glorie, yes James reacts to alot of anime. And they both react to animations. But they also react to Classic movies, Musicals, Marvel and Horror. This was supposed to be a horror poll. Not a horror/classic movie poll. All of this is why I can see why people are making that point. I can also see why the guys did it. Hocus Pocus is a good fun movie. And I would've voted for it on a classic halloween movie poll. However, it's won the day, and I'm sure the boys will love it.

2021-10-05 13:50:24 +0000 UTChocus pocus is halloween friendly and that's what they are going for not horror genre....they are not horror genre main concept (sometimes it's a secondary concept)......different reactors have their specialties, billy it's romantic comedies, the movie budz do only women led movies, the movie critics are the ones that do mostly horror/scifi genre's liam does pop culture. for these guys it's a lot of anime and disney as they've said they dabble in that themselves on side projects so it is what interests them. That's why I subscribe to different reactors, to get the different themes i'm looking for If one reactor does every style to make everyone happy that just makes their channel a mess and confusing.

2021-10-05 13:17:32 +0000 UTCHahaha, I'm gonna be real, I voted for Hocus Pocus BECAUSE it's not horror. I really can't enjoy horror movies at all and even though it's Halloween, they watch enough horror that I don't feel it's necessary to watch a scary movie. I like the idea of being able to watch something with them that's Halloween themed and also not scary. Hocus Pocus and Nightmare Before Christmas fall in a nice category for me personally.

2021-10-05 12:08:18 +0000 UTCI agree.

2021-10-05 06:17:38 +0000 UTCI understand why people want Hocus Pocus. It is a bit of a Cult Classic / tradition. But I still vote for the original Child's Play.
Anika
2021-10-05 06:14:29 +0000 UTCI'll have to re-watch the remake one day. I didn't think much of it personally, but it could be because I liked the original so much. My perception may have been skewed lol
Trav Gorin
2021-10-05 05:08:10 +0000 UTCI would agree with you, but the last time they didn't include something on a poll, some people slammed them for it. So I understand where they're coming from by including it.

2021-10-05 05:06:08 +0000 UTCAll y’all kids (I say as anyone 10+ years younger than I am at 40 🤣,) need to learn about and watch the classic ones. Poltergeist needs to be watched.
FOTSnax
2021-10-05 05:05:25 +0000 UTCI agree... they need to separate the polls or something as too many on here want the family friendly stuff.
Robert H
2021-10-05 04:10:36 +0000 UTCHocus Pocus is not horror and is more of a family movie. I'm thinking you guys should do separate polls. Horror movies and family ones should not be together in my opinion. It seems the people who don't really like horror have taken over this horror movie poll.

2021-10-05 04:00:53 +0000 UTCThe Thing with Kurt Russell and the remake are both good :)

2021-10-05 03:37:06 +0000 UTCHocus Pocus is a fun classic. I would also highly recommend "The Others" (2001). It's incredibly well directed and acted. Truely scary but also damn good story telling.

2021-10-05 02:59:58 +0000 UTCYes to Practical Magic!! First time I was introduced to Nicole Kidman and second movie after Miss Congeniality for Sandra. And it has Rizzo from Grease
Kayla
2021-10-05 02:39:00 +0000 UTCHocus Pocus is THE Halloween movie (alongside Nightmare Before Christmas)

2021-10-05 02:38:04 +0000 UTCThat's why people love it. It's not scary at all. That's my kind of horror films

2021-10-05 01:21:57 +0000 UTCI just don’t get the Hocus Pocus love. I was a teen when that came out and I thought it was so stupid. And not just because I’m particular about my comedy. It just seemed sort of ridiculous and geared towards kids under 10 but people love it. I’d rather watch Ghostbusters if I want some funny with the scary. I voted for Poltergeist but The Thing is great also.

2021-10-05 01:15:36 +0000 UTCAww man, The Thing is SO GREAT. How is it in last place D:
