Hope you’re all hanging in there. I am feeling physically bad (sick) but mentally well (gay supremacy on the Traitors) so I’ll take it.
First of all, I’m thrilled to announce our Chicago and Minneapolis Gender Ordeal shows! We’ll be in Chicago on Thursday, April 24, at a venue called Color Club. I think maybe it’s not in an amazing location(?) but we are flying all the way from New York which is also not convenient so PLEASE COME ANYWAY my beautiful angels! Tickets are on sale now, and I’m giving the patrons first dibs on tix, but feel free to start telling yr friends.
Our Minneapolis show will be the very next day (Friday, April 25) at the Hook & Ladder Theater. This one does NOT have a ticket link yet but I will tell you as soon as that link exists. In the meantime, mark your calendars and start rallying the troops (aka gay people).
And speaking of rallying the gays: thank you so much to everyone who submitted thoughts for our Trans Day of Snack advice episode! I shared your questions and concerns with Jerika of Seattle Trans Joy, and our chat will be published on the Gender Reveal feed next week. In the meantime, I wanted to leak the TDOS microgrant form we put together, in case you want to start cooking something up (pun intended). Let me know if you have questions/thoughts about the form! Always open to feedback.
By the way, if you’re more of a “staying in and having a nice snack” person, no worries, we’ve got a plan for y’all, too! More about that in the upcoming episode.
In other news: Back in January, I was an in-person studio guest (in one case, “studio” was “a they/them’s apartment in Fort Greene”) on two different podcasts: Dear Prudence* and One of Us with Fin & Chris**. I haven’t mentioned this because tbh I am not sure that I did well on either episode, and I haven’t listened back to see how the edits turned out, and also crucially because they both came out right after the inauguration and we’ve been sort of busy since then! But if you care to take a listen, lmk how it went I guess.
*This episode was guest-hosted by Kristen Meinzer, who you might know from podcasts like By The Book and How To Be Fine.
**This show is hosted by Chris Renfro, who is best known for replacing James Scully in Oh Mary!, and Fin Argus, who is best known to me for being iconic in The Other Two and for also being like stunningly beautiful imho
Okay, let’s do Links & Stuff.
