Hope you’re all hanging in there. If you or your loved ones are impacted by the fires in Los Angeles, please know that you’re in my thoughts.
We’re putting out two episodes on Monday so I am twice as busy as I’d like to be this weekend. (Maybe I shouldn’t have spent 8 hours rewatching Severance this week! Whatever!) So, let’s keep this short.
First, a quick ask. I know you’re inundated with GoFundMes right now and always, but I can vouch for this woman personally, and she could really use you help. She’s a trans organizer & activist in Nigeria and her safety is in jeopardy. And her $$ ask is very low and doable! If you could help even a little bit, I’d really appreciate it. And speaking of GoFundMes, here’s a list of Black families who lost their homes in Altadena this week — please help one (or many) of these families as well!
Tour updates: We still have many tickets to our Washington DC show in three weeks so please come take over the capitol with us. (JUST KIDDING. THIS IS A JOKE. But do come hang!)
