Hope you’ve all been hanging in there. And, hey, welcome to all the new patrons! As you may have heard, newsletter subscribers get sneak peeks of new episodes and any behind-the-scenes gossip I can muster. Here’s what I’ve got for you tonight:

Earlier today, I recorded a Gender Conceal episode with author & historian Solomon J. Brager, whose graphic memoir Heavyweight comes out later this month. If I said we talked a lot about Zionism and our mothers, would you still believe that it was a fun chat? Well, it was a really fun chat! The book itself is about literal genocide, so it’s heavy but also unfortunately very timely, and I really recommend pre-ordering or requesting at your local library if you can.

Hey, while we're here, do you have a few dollars to spare for Ziyad and his family in Gaza? Ziyad is so sweet and his family deserves the world. Thank you so much for your help.

Fun breaking live show news: We’re adding Calvin Kasulke to our lineup! (You might know Calvin from Several People Are Typing or Gender Reveal or Gender Conceal or previous works.) Calvin is gonna be competing with our friend Mattie Lubchansky in a game that I technically “haven’t created or tested yet” and that will also be “completely unusable in an audio format.” But you know what??? It’s gonna be great. (Am I selling it well?? If so, you can still get tickets here lol. Less than two weeks away!!!)

BTW, Niko and I are trying to cook up some fun 2 Trans 2 Furious news for ya — but in the meantime, the Lammys are on Tuesday! Does anyone know what to wear? I do not own a blazer or nice shoes of any kind but I do own a short-sleeved button up with the Space Jam characters on it. Please give me a better idea than “Dom Toretto cosplay” which I’m unfortunately considering.
