We’ve got two new episode this week! On the main feed, Mckenzee returns to answer sixteen advice questions and also one question about Super Smash Bros. Topics include wedding photos, choose-your-own-astrology, post-FFS meals, tits, potential heterosexuality, trans hobbies, nonprofits, advance directives, cisgender transsexuals (again), and whether your gender can be “boy” if you’re in your thirties. I’ve heard it’s a good ep!!!

(Also, Mattie Lubchansky makes a special appearance to advise a listener on whether she should go to El Campo! Shout-out to the self-help text Boys Weekend I guess!!!) (By the way have you ever noticed that Gender Reveal podcast is listed under self-help? I just thought it was funny seven years ago and how here we are.)

We’ve also got a new Gender Conceal episode out, in which AK and I rank every Major League Baseball mascot from most trans to most cis. We also discuss various fleets of racing mascots (Racing Presidents, Racing Sausages, Racing Pierogis), rejected mascots of the past (Crazy Crab, Andy the Clown, Bleacher Creature) and mascots who have canonically dealt cocaine. Today I was reminded of this album from my childhood, which is actually a major influence of mine?? lol??? if you have young kids, buy them a cheap signed CD (or do some streaming whatever) and they will learn to count out loud in Roman numerals and also make pico de gallo!! Valuable life lessons!!!!
Haven’t been reading much protest coverage but I was transfixed by Hell Gate’s coverage of a cop recklessly and illegally driving a city bus full of protestors (bad!!!) because the MTA refuses to transport arrestees (good!!!!).
This protest safety article is also worth a read/refresh, even if parts are NYC-specific.
Speaking of Mattie (5 paragraphs ago) their band has a new album that you can pre-order now and I figured you should know that. (It’s important to me that you know that the track “Possum Kingdom II” is partially due to My Influence even tho I do not remember why I originally made Mattie think about Possum Kingdom many months or years ago. Probably I was talking about time signatures.) (OK now I am listening to Possum Kingdom and maybe you also should do that.) (Hey wait they should let the As stay in Oakland and rename the Coliseum “Possum Kingdom” ok sorry moving on.)
