Yin Q! Also, Rhubarb does not care about the sun or moon.

Hey friends,

Hope you’re all hanging in there. I still need to finish tomorrow’s episode (lol) and pay my taxes (lmao) so this is going to be a short one.

This week on the show, it was such a treat to hear Ozzy speak with Yin Q!! We’ve gotten great feedback about this episode, and I can see why — Yin and Ozzy did a wonderful job exploring connections among kink, gender, parenting, spirituality, sex work, and community organizing. Don’t forget to follow Red Canary Song for updates on their important organizing work. (I missed the Fly In Power screening that Ozzy attended; if anyone spots another chance to watch it, lmk.)

Next week, we’re talking to a BFF of the show! Jerika Che (of Seattle Trans Joy) is back to catch us up on what they’ve been doing for the last five years (spoiler: throwing dozens of events for thousands of trans people), and to share tips for throwing successful trans community gatherings. I’m biased because I love Jerika, but I’m really hyped for y’all to hear this one!

I don’t actually remember what else I talk about in this newsletter? Soooo, here’s Links & Stuff.

Everything else department:

That’s it for this week. Here’s your weekly Rhubarb. I love her so much.

PS: We're halfway thru April and I do not have this month’s Gender Conceal planned (oops) so if you have any guest or topic requests lmk!!!!

I also didn't recognise my queerness until later in life, and despite being queer in a bit of a different direction than Shay is, the comic was such a beautiful and joyful read. It's definitely going to be living rent free in my mind for the foreseeable future, (hopefully) especially when I'm struggling with whether or not queerness is a label that I'm eligible to claim.
