Hope you’re all hanging in there. This is a quick one because I simply don’t have much to tell you. I’m at a little café and there are two young gays here talking through every single party drug one at a time, including acronyms I have never heard, and I’m like, ah, yes, Sunday morning conversation. So that’s literally where I’m at.

Oh, yesterday I went to a 1989 (Taylor’s Version)-themed Halloween party as the second half of the chorus from Blank Space. I made a little sign, as you can see above. Halloween is, as we know, the most trans holiday, so please tell me your costumes in the comments, tysm.

Anyway! There are like, two and a half days left to apply for this year’s grant. We have 69 applicants right now. Nice! Except, not nice because last year we had 340 at this time? So! Great odds. Tell your friends! Application is at bit.ly/GRgrant23.

(This is actually part of a trend where we are also steadily losing listeners and patrons and whatnot for kind of the first time ever, and I’m sure everyone is just busy and stressed and distracted by world collapse and also maybe you’ve just figured out gender and are all set to go, but if you’re mad at me personally please lmk lmao.)

Otherwise, not much to report. Ozzy and I are deep in the gender mines, digging around for next season’s lineup. (Thanks again everyone for the suggestions!) I’m about to travel to this podcast festival and then head over to Los Angeles for, among other things, the free 2 Trans 2 Furious book event I keep mentioning. And also, a trip to my college for some reason?? Yuck.

Mckenzee and I very briefly talk about the college thing in the latest Gender Conceal episode, which dropped a couple days ago btw! At first we thought this episode was absolutely nothing, but it kinda grew on us?? It's sleepy but fun, maybe! Among the things, we answer questions submitted by YOU, the patrons. Thank you for the questions! They were great.

OK, I think that’s actually it for now. No Links & Stuff because I’m sure you’re already saturated with heartbreaking and horrifying news out of Palestine, and it feels weird to talk about anything else, you know?
