Hey friends,
Hope you’re all hanging in there. It’s wet here!!!! (Also, thank you to everyone who sent fridge-free food recs: I still don’t have fridge and your tips have been very helpful.)
My headlining news is that merch is back! I restocked our most Halloween-adjacent designs (vampires, mothman, ghosts, skulls, knives, etc.) plus a couple of other recent bangers. Everything disappears out of the shop on Oct 15, and I might restock it after that but I might not?? So maybe grab what you want now to be safe.

Photo: 8 of the 12 items currently in the merch shop, which feature various skulls, vampires, ghouls, moths, and more, mostly in trans flag colors. Each clothing item also features text but it's mostly too small to read here.
In other news, we’ve got Alison Rumfitt on the show this week, talking about KINK and HORROR and TERFS and WORMS and EMINEM and EXPERIMENTAL POETRY and etc etc etc. Brainwyrms comes out on Oct 10, and if you’re brave enough to read it, please send me your thoughts.
We also just posted this month’s Gender Conceal episode, which features Kendra explaining which anime and manga made them gay as a teen. I had no idea what to expect when Kendra did this live at the Bell House show, but I was completely obsessed, and hope you also enjoy it! (The visuals are optional, but they’re attached in the show notes for your convenience.)

Photo: A slide from Kendra's slideshow, which says "HOMOSEXUALITY AVOIDED" over an illustration of what appears to be two very gay men.
Next week, we’re talking with the one and only Raquel Willis! I’m really excited about this one, and think it’s a great spot to end the season. (Regrettably couldn’t ask about this because it hadn’t happened yet lol.)
No link &/or stuff this week other than this fresh link to the Gender Detective Slack, in case anyone has been thinking about joining. Maybe it’s y’alls turn for links and stuff? Share a good link in the comments, why not!!!
That’s it for now. Here’s your weekly Rhubarb.
