Hey friends,

Hope you’re all hanging in there. I’m very almost asleep so this is going to be a short one.

(Did I just pause for 10 minutes to text friend-of-the-pod Kirby about the grammar of very almost asleep? Don’t worry about it!)

This week on the show, we chatted with Casey Plett. You know Casey, right? From the books? They’re like… some of the essential pillars of the trans literary canon? Anyway, Casey and Ozzy and I talked about ~queer community~ (is it bad????) and Mennonite masculinity and Topside Press gossip and Taylor Swift’s Red and Super Smash Brothers and the COGIATI and the future of trans publishing and also why the future of gender is playing the piano. It was a good one imo, and I hope you enjoy(ed) it too.

Next week (aka in 6 hours) on the show, we’ll have four abbreviated segments from our live show:

My only other update is that I’m still trying to book a thing in LA but I’m not sure that I’ll pull it off because we’re on a time limit and it turns out it’s hard to “get a venue to email you back” allegedly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We’ll see.

Oh hey, also: if you joined the Patreon in the last few months and are waiting on a physical Patreon reward from me, I will send them all out at the end of the season! So like, a few more weeks maybe. If that’s ok!!!?!?! Surely nobody really NEEDS stickers etc on a strict timeline, right? Right.
