Hey friends,

Hope you’re all hanging in there. Great news: the NYC live show is over, so you don’t have to listen to me talk about buying tickets anymore!!!

We’ll drop a short, abridged version of the live show in the main feed in a couple weeks, but the show included no fewer than four visuals-heavy segments, so the bulk of the live show content will be ~ patreon exclusive ~ (or else ~ you had to be there exclusive ~ in the case of me talking about my exes, lmao). Those visuals-heavy segments will be released via Gender Conceal on a rolling basis over the next… month or two? Look, I don’t know yet, but that sounds right.

In the meantime! We’ve got a full-length interview with Casey Plett coming out on Monday, and I’m very excited to share it. I’ve wanted to talk with Casey on the show for years, and now we’re getting to hear from her twice in two weeks**! I won’t spoil anything here, but I tried to make it a fun one and I think(!?!) it worked. :)

**Casey was also a guest in the live show, famously.

Meanwhile, in podcast production-land: the last couple weeks have been full of interviews/recording sessions, and because of that, Ozzy & I are thankfully almost done recording this season! If we can get this one final interview officially booked and recorded (pray 4 us), we should have the rest of the season locked and loaded. Which is to say: no more weeks off! Hopefully! I feel like I’m tempting fate by saying this but… we’ll see!!!

(A fun fact about me is that I forgot to take my meds until 3pm today and now my brain doesn’t work at all. Are these sentences?? Impossible to say.)

Speaking of wrapping big projects up, we are finally almost done shipping all 1475(!) copies of 2 Trans 2 Furious. We’ve got copies going to a handful of book/zine shops around the country as well, so if you see one in your favorite independent bookstore, please send me a pic! (They're gonna be in Portland, Minneapolis, Philly, Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Charlottesville and... possibly somewhere else I'm forgetting.)

Important but upsetting lol:

• Gift link to an article about incarcerated men playing Dungeons & Dragons on death row. As you can imagine, it is very very sad, but also very good.
• I couldn’t figure out how to gift link this one, but I thought this multimedia piece on literal global warming — that is, how many places on earth are getting too hot to live — was very interesting and also, you guessed it, upsetting!

Taking action about important, upsetting things:

• This short piece is a nice chaser to the other climate change piece. Sort of.
• Gift link to a piece about an overdose prevention site doing good work in the Tenderloin
• A bunch of queer freaks*** got rid of a ton of people’s medical debts! This rules and feels very doable via organized fundraising??
