I'm pretty sure of all the disney movies this is the villian I hate the most.

2021-07-29 02:00:18 +0000 UTCI hadn't seen this film before, but damn that was great.. and a little bit too relatable :') the music is so good (apparently I sung several of the songs with my choir, i had no idea they came from this film), and the animation really brings the French vibes to life

2021-07-26 01:38:20 +0000 UTCThe book is over 700 pages long so there's a lot more happening and more characters they didn't include to streamline the story (like Frollo's brother and Pheobus' fiance) but the basic story is pretty close except for one big difference: Pheobus isn't in love with Esmeralda =/ Also as with most Disney movies based on other tales the movie is a lot happier than the source material. The book DOES NOT have a happy ending -__-
