I've seen this movies many times. Still, when they started the raid on the ghettos I couldn't stop compulsively scratching. It's always very good to see people who are not Jewish watch this amazing film

Also, if you are more interested in all this theme (I think we should all, to not forget about what happened), there is THE documentary about it. It's the best piece of "cinematography" about the Holocaust, in my opinion, at least. It is called "Shoah" it's quite long but boy it is amazing. Mainly because it just show the testimonies of survivors and even some of SS that are in home arrest or so. It goes to the places now where some camps where, but doesn't show how it were in the past. If you "liked" this movie I think you should definitely watch "LA VITA È BELLA", italian film on the IIWW and the Holocaust. It's sublime. I really really recommend it. It's quite different from others out there on the same theme. Definitely worth it. Anyway, thanks for your work, I really enjoy all your reacts!!🤩

I've heard that even above Star Wars and Jaws and Indiana Jones, John Williams is the proudest of his score for this film. No denying it's the heaviest, hard to listen while thinking about WWII atrocities and keep it together, at least for me

My family is Jewish and we lost family in the Holocaust. It's hard to understand the mindset of an entire country allowing this to happen. The fact that it can continue to happen in other places in the world is very sad. Thanks for watching this movie. Glad you appreciated it.

I first saw this movie in Sasebo Japan while in the Navy. It was a unique experience watching this with the Japanese audience. What a great movie for one of the darkest times in human history.

I vividly remember seeing a part of this movie in elementary school, though they didn't show the most shocking scenes. I was too young to really comprehend the magnitude of this tragedy. Watching it as an adult, with everything I know about history, hits a lot different. It is SUCH an important film. It never leaves you after you've seen it.

It’s been nearly 20 years since I last watched this. This time hit differently for a few reasons. Being a mom now I breakdown even faster and harder seeing all of the kids. It’s just another level to the tragedy that I didn’t fully comprehend in high school. I also found out that my mom is half Jewish, and it’s pretty much guaranteed we lost family in Auschwitz

The inspiration for the “girl in the red coat” came from a man called Martin Foldi who testified at the trial of Adolph Eichman about the loss of his family in Aushwitz . “” I couldn’t see my wife anymore she was swallowed up in the crowd. I couldn’t see my son anymore either, he was swallowed up in the crowd, but my little daughter had a red coat , and that little red dot getting smaller and smaller ,this is how my family disappeared from my life “”

I'm really glad you guys are watching this. It's such an important movie. I can't really bring myself to watch it again because it hits a little too close to home, having grown up with holocaust survivors in my family and having lost other family members to concentration camps. But it always always a positive in my mind to see other people learning how it was for people like my grandparents.

Great movie. I have seen it before . I can’t watch it again, it’s too unsettling . After seeing it my very irrational response was wanting to get on the first plane to Germany and after arriving punch the first Aryan looking German I saw.

Such a hard movie to watch, but so important. If you guys haven't seen it yet, you should watch American History X (1998). It's another really powerful movie about prejudice that unfortunately is still incredibly relevant. Edward Norton's acting in it is amazing also, and the cinematography is on par with Schindler's List imo. I know you guys have a long list of stuff to watch though, so no worries if not!

Very powerful and emotional movie! ❤ a masterpiece without a doubt 👍 I went to Krakow and Auswitch few years back and saw his factory as well.. very moving trip and it really opened my eyes to what horrorfying things went down during World War 2 😢

This confirms Liam Neeson's talent and power as a dramatic actor . Sir Ben Kingsley as Stern is great too . This was Ralph Fienne's introduction to U.S. moviegoers and what a standout performance it was . Spielberg's choice to make it black & white makes it seem as if it was made in the era the film was set in . Very powerful and resonant . Still holds up to this day . It won Spielberg his first Best Director Oscar and won Best Picture and 5 more . Shows you how one film can make a difference in this messed up world we live in .

6 million Jews, millions of other Russians, political opponents, Gypsies and other people murdered. It is hard to find even fathom those numbers and really hard to watch a film on it decades after the fact. Astonishing film, one we should never forget. Ralph Fiennes was astonishing.
