Normal Gossip live! Murdered by Swifties?! Good news for Canadians!

Hey friends,

Hope you’re all hanging in there. I just got home from a super quick trip to visit BFF of the show Mckenzee, as some of you may have seen on her Instagram. It was very cute! I saw geese and ducks and chickens and other birds and prairie dogs and normal dogs and deer and Mckenzee’s two cat sons, and it was extremely nice to literally go touch grass.

(The trip took a dark turn at the very end when my flight home to LaGuardia got cancelled and I ended up flying into Newark past midnight, which meant I had to take the commuter train into the city at 1:30am… as it happened, 50,000 Swifties were heading home from MetLife Stadium at the same time, and when I tell you I was almost crushed on the Penn Station platform by a swarm of girlies in glitter and sequins! But I made it home it’s fine I’m fine and I will try not to hold it against these nice girls and gays!)

Anyway! We’ve got a bonus episode coming out soon (tomorrow???) with my good friend Naveen, in which we talk about Texas and pterodactyl screeches and dodgeball-style wedding parties and our absolutely cursed friendship origin story, so stay tuned for that one.

In the meantime, you’ll recall that I hinted at a live NYC show on June 16? I can now reveal that to be the second Normal Gossip Brooklyn live show at Town Hall! Come see me make a fool of myself in a big scary venue, if you’re feeling it! I’m realizing now that I should have put like “Big Season 11 announcement!” in the headline but this will be a little treat for all y’all who open the newsletters: the podcast is coming back next week allegedly! I don’t know how we’re going to pull it off but I believe in us (by which I mean I believe in Ozzy’s ability to save my ass, mostly).
