Ryan Ken! Cancel Me Daddy! A dozen recs for you!

Hope you’re all hanging in there. As you may know because you’re also gay, Boygenius just put out a new surprise song complete with a music video of just the three of them being friends??? I’ve never seen anything better??? If you need me for the rest of the day, I will be laying on the floor, thinking about this shirt and also this moment.

Anyway! This week, on our SEASON FINALE, we’ve got Ryan Ken on the show! Ryan is such a genius that I wrote down at least a dozen standout quotes while editing — you can find many of them in this thread. In this episode, we talk about violin vs acting, Scorpio discrimination, comedy via fashion, TikToks as a DEI peanut-butter pill, growing up religious, and why Ryan is Not Interested in allyship. Worth multiple listens imo!

That’s a wrap on our official season, but I recorded March’s patreon bonus episode yesterday and it was truly a treat and a delight! I won’t spoil it, but it’s very topical and very fun and I’m really excited for you to hear it soon.
