2021-07-18 01:29:32 +0000 UTCThe genius is that the movie puts you in Cecilia's shoes in how she felt during and after her relationship with Adrian. When you talked about how on edge you were the whole movie, jumping at shadows, paranoid, never knowing if there was a real threat or not, questioning yourself -- that's what it must feel like being trapped in an abusive relationship. The true "horror" isn't supernatural, it's the reality of what human beings do to each other. Great reaction!
